Oxtail (in the slow cooker) - by 2TA
Place the following in the slow cooker. I usually cook it for 12 hours on high...
oxtail - about 800g.
pour a tin of chopped tomatoes over oxtail.
In the same tin, now obviously empty, pour a smidgen of boiling water in with a cube of oxtail stock, mix up.
Fill the tin half full with sago and top up with boiling water. Add s&p and mix. Let it stand for a minute or two. Careful not to burn your fingers on the hot tin!
Pour this mixture over the tomatoes and oxtail and give it a little mix.
Cook for about 12 hours, stirring maybe once or twice.
(note, at the end of cooking, you'll find a layer of oil over the top - just spoon off)
Serve with mash potato.
Also, very YUMMY and very easy!
