Icing, Vanilla - by Charrup
Icing, Vanilla - by Charrup
Ingredients
75g soft butter or margarine
250g icing sugar, sieved
Milk
1 egg yolk
5ml vanilla essence
Method
1. Cream icing sugar and margarine. Stir in a few drops of milk if the mixture becomes too stiff.
2. Add the egg yolk and vanilla essence and beat well.
3. Continue adding milk until the icing is of a desired consistency.
If I remember, it didn't get stiff in the beginning but more like dry cos of the small amount of butter to sugar ratio so don't worry... do as it says and it comes out so tasty and just divine in my opinion... I couldn't stop eating the darn cupcakes :))
