Ham & Cheese Roll

You can actually put any meat in it (grated viennas, ham etc.) it's so easy be creative or add some veggies (mushrooms, greenpeppers etc.)

1 roll puff pastry
1 cup of cheese
1 pack of bacon (normal size Entrerprize one dissed or normal which you just cut in little pieces)
1 onion
a bit of chutney (you can put in loads to make it really saucy I just use about 1/4 cup)
4 basil leaves chopped fine (the basil gives it a really nice taste)
a bit of salt and peper

Oven on 180. Put your pastry out in to morning to defrost during the day or pop it in the microwave for a minute (like me). Dice chop or grate all the other ingredients into a bowl and mix. Roll out the pastry put a thin layer of other ingredients on (if you put too much in the pastry it will pull apart at the top as it bakes), roll up the pastry cut layers into it about 1 cm apart not all the way through, put it on a baking tray, smear with some egg and pop it in the oven until golden brown.
