Mushroom Bake - by 2TA
*This is more like a decadent mushroom sauce using whole mushrooms! This is divine with fresh crusty bread!!!
Ingredients:
500 g fresh mushrooms (2 punnets)
50 ml butter
50 ml cake flour
15 ml finely chopped onion
15 ml finely chopped fresh parsley
5 ml salt
5 ml mustard
Pinch of pepper
Pinch of nutmeg
250 ml cream
Method:
1. Put mushrooms in oven proof dish.
2. Mix other ingredients, except cream.
3. Spread mixture over mushrooms.
4. Pour cream on top.
5. Bake mushrooms for 30 – 40 minutes, stirring 3 to 4 times during baking.
Serves 6
